The list includes Topfive ancient temples of literature marking the country’s age-oldeducation, namely Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam in Hanoi, Xich Dang in northernHung Yen province, Mao Dien in northern Hai Duong province, Van Thanh incentral Thua Thien-Hue province, and Tran Bien in southern Dong Naiprovince.
Top 10 islands with natural beauty are Hoang Sa(Paracel) in central Da Nang city, Truong Sa (Spratly) in central KhanhHoa province, Cat Ba and Bach Long Vi in northern Hai Phong city, Cu LaoCham in central Quang Nam province, Ly Son in central Quang Ngai, PhuQuy in central Binh Thuan, Con Dao in southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Phu Quocin southern Kien Giang and Hon Khoai in southernmost Ca Mau.
