Stockholm (VNA) – National Assembly (NA) ChairwomanNguyen Thi Kim Ngan affirmed Vietnam’s commitment to creating a favourablelegal environment for Swedish investors while meeting leaders of the Ericson andSweco Groups on April 7 in Stockholm.
She said she is pleased with developing relationship between Vietnam and Swedenin all fields, especially economy, trade and investment.
Sweden is one of the important trade partners of Vietnam in Europe, with twoway trade at 1.2 billion USD, she said, stressing the need to raise Swedishinvestment in Vietnam from the current 93.7 million USD.
The NA Chairwoman expressed her delight at visiting theEricson Group, which is present in 180 nations over the world, includingVietnam.
She said she hopes the group will consider the expansion ofits investment in Vietnam.
Meanwhile, Ngan told Sweco leaders that Vietnam is payingmuch attention to the strong fields of the group such as smart city design andconstruction and wastewater treatment.
The same day, the top Vietnamese legislator also paid acourtesy visit to Victoria Ingrid Alice Désirée, Crown Princess of Sweden.
