Tour organisers offer attractive products for coming long holiday
Many travel companies in Ho Chi Minh City, the country’s biggest hub with a population of over 8.6 million, are offering attractive products in anticipation of the coming long holiday.

Ho Chi Minh City (VNA) – Many travel companies inHo Chi Minh City, the country’s biggest hub with a population of over 8.6million, are offering attractive products in anticipation of the coming longholiday.
On the occasion of the Liberation Day (April 30) and MayDay, workers in Vietnam can enjoy a five-day holiday and this creates a goodchance for organisers of tours both inside and outside the country.
Fiditour company representatives said this year, they willmainly focus on destinations at sea and on islands, mostly in Phu Quoc, NhaTrang, Da Nang and Ha Long. Their products will include the sites of famousfilms in the central coastal provinces of Phu Yen and Binh Dinh. Meanwhile,outbound tours to neighbouring countries like Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia andChina have been almost fully booked.
Representatives of the Vietravel company said they willoffer tours to newly found destinations which have become very popular amongtourists like those in Quang Ninh province in the north and Dak Nong provincein the Central Highlands. As for outbound tours, they will offer those usingchartered flights to Ibaraki and Fukushima of Japan, the Netherlands and theDemocratic People’s Republic of Korea.
For its part, the Saigontourist company will offer toursvalued at less than 10 million VND (about 450 USD), aiming at middle incomeearners. The prices of their tours this time will be about 7 – 10 percenthigher than those of other days while those of outbound tours will remainalmost unchanged.-VNA
The first “Vietnam Outbound Tourism – Opportunities and Challenges” forum will be held within the framework of the Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) 2019 scheduled for March 27-30 in Hanoi.
Authorities in the central province of Thanh Hoa on March 15 launched several new tours linking the province and neighbouring Houaphanh province in Laos.
