The accident occurred at 10 p.m. in Hai Thuong commune, Hai Langdistrict in the central province of Quang Tri when the train SE5,carrying 600 passengers from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, struck the lorrytrying to cross the railway. Railway authoritiesare currently working with Quang Tri authorities to figure out the causeof the accident as well as restoring the flow of traffic on nationalroad 1A, which was blocked by a derailed carriage.-VNA
