Tuyen Quang province upgrades relic site of first Party cell
A ceremony was held on January 25 to mark the completion of upgrades to the place where the first cell of the Communist Party of Vietnam in northern Tuyen Quang province was established.

Tuyen Quang (VNA) – A ceremony was held onJanuary 25 to mark the completion of upgrades to the place where the first cellof the Communist Party of Vietnam in northern Tuyen Quang province wasestablished.
The Mo Than Party cell was set up on March 20,1940 at a house in Mo Than hamlet, now Group 40 of Minh Xuan ward in TuyenQuang city, with seven Party members.
Under the Party cell’s leadership, therevolutionary movement in the Mo Than area developed and expanded to nearbyareas. The establishment of this Party cell marked a step of development of thelocal revolutionary movement at that time.
Work on the relic site began on February 3,2018, upgrading and building a stele shelter, a wooden exhibition house andsome other facilities.

A hub for sharing best practices, the event aims to forge solutions for financial sustainability, public media contracts, audience engagement, content innovation, and newsroom restructuring. It is also a moment for Vietnam’s media to accelerate its progress and figure out what the “revolutionary press” means in a new era.
From “Thanh nien”, Vietnam’s first revolutionary newspaper founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc (later President Ho Chi Minh) on June 21, 1925, the revolutionary press has remained devoted to its sacred missions -accompanying the nation, serving the Fatherland, and working for the people.
