Hanoi (VNA) - Prince Andrew of tꦆhe United Kingdom and Northern Ireland pledged to help Vietnam build a model of connecting and supporting business start-ups during his meeting with Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung in Hano♕i on November 13.
With his experience and connections in assisting start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Prince Andrew said he did and will have further discussions with relevant Vietnamese agencies and the two countries’ business communities to outline an action plan to realise the idea next year, thereby devising policies and laws appropriate to Vietnam’s conditions.
The guest vowed to do his best to make his initiative come true and seek new ideas and opportunities to foster the bilateral strategic partnership on almost fronts.
PM Dung, for his part, hailed the outcomes of discussions on the initiative between the Prince and the Ministry of Planning and Investment, saying that it will contribute to further reinforcing bilateral trade and investment.
Vietnam wants to work effectively with the UK across the board, particularly in economics, trade and investment, he stated.
He also committed all possible support to start-ups and SMEs along the way.-VNA
