Vietnamese Ambassador toUkraine Nguyen Minh Tri was speaking at a workshop in Kiev, Ukraine onNovember 2 to seek ways for Ukraine-based Vietnamese enterprises’business development.

Representatives from 30Vietnamese enterprises from Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa, and Cherkasy werebrought together to the event, which was organised by the Embassies ofVietnam in Ukraine and in Moldova, in collaboration with the Associationof Vietnamese Enterprises in Ukraine.

AmbassadorTri highlighted the role of Vietnamese enterprises in connecting andboosting bilateral trade ties and investment between Vietnam andUkraine.

He called on them to closely cooperate withlocal authorities and enterprises in the homeland in order to overcomethe current challenging time.

Some representatives came upwith the establishment of Vietnam-Ukraine joint ventures in which theUkrainian side is represented by Vietnamese businesses located inUkraine as a solution to maintain long-term business in the EasternEuropean country where the socio-economic and political crisis has yetto end.-VNA
