Vietjet Air flight makes unscheduled landing for technical check

Flight VJ225 that departed from Vinh at 9:30pm had to make an emergency landingin the central city of Da Nang at 10:30pm the same day following a technicalwarning, and resumed its journey at 0:35 on February 7.
A Vietjet Air representative said passengers’ safety is the top priority,noting that any warning should be handled in accordance with the process.
Vietjet Air is a fully-fledgedmember of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) with an IATAOperational Safety Audit (IOSA) certificate. Vietjet was named “Best UltraLow-Cost Airline 2018-2019” and awarded the highest ranking for safety withseven-stars in 2018 by the world’s only safety and product rating website,AirlineRatings.com. The airline has been also listed on the world’s 50 bestairlines for healthy financing and operations by Airfinance Journal in 2018.
Currently, Vietjet Air operates 60 A320 and A321 aircraft, with more than 385flights daily. It has carried more than 65 million passengers to date over 105routes covering destinations across Vietnam and around the world, includingJapan, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, China, Thailand,Myanmar, Malaysia, and Cambodia.
The airline has plans to expand its flight network across the Asia-Pacificregion and has signed contracts to buy new-generation aircraft from prestigiousglobal plane manufacturers.–VNA
