Vietjet Air launches Hanoi-Delhi direct route

The first direct flight from Hanoi to India’s New Delhi landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport on December 7 night after travelling for more than five hours.

– The first direct flight from Hanoi to India’s NewDelhi landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport on December 7 night after travellingfor more than five hours.

VietnameseAmbassador to India Pham Sanh Chau was present at the airport to welcomepassengers of the flight that was operated by budget carrier Vietjet Air.

Theambassador expressed his hope that the direct air route will facilitatecultural and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, as well asthe bilateral trade, investment and tourism ties.        

OnDecember 6, Vietjet Air also launched its first direct flight from Ho Chi MinhCity to the Indian capital city.
