Hanoi (VNA) – National flag carrier VietnamAirlines has launched an e-commerce platform called VNAMALL (/),offering discounted deals on more than 300 products as part of its Black Fridaypromotional event.
It is the airline’s latest move to diversify its investmentand catch up with the digital transformation trends and the rapidly growinge-commerce industry.
With VNAMALL, Vietnam Airlines expects to take advantage ofits network of nearly 100 routes to bring to online shoppers distinctive high-qualityproducts, mostly food, farm produce and wine, from prestigious suppliers andpartners worldwide.
The State-run company also sells Vietnam Airlines Gift Card,the first airline service gift card ever launched in Vietnam, which allows usersto exchange for air tickets or right to upgrade to Business Class on VietnamAirlines, Pacific Airlines and VASCO flights, among others.
VNAMALL is offering 100,000 VND (4.41 USD) off and a gift tothe first 100 orders of 300,000 VND and more.
