Vietnam Airlines wins three prestigious travel awards
National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has recently been named the World’s Leading Cultural Airline, World’s Leading Airline - Premium Economy Class, and World’s Leading Airline – Economy Class at this year’s prestigious World Travel Awards (WTA).

Hanoi (VNA) – National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has recently beennamed the World’s Leading Cultural Airline, World’s Leading Airline - PremiumEconomy Class, and World’s Leading Airline – Economy Class at this year’sprestigious World Travel Awards (WTA).
This is the fifth consecutive year it retained prestigious awards from the WTA,reaffirming the airline’s commitment to bringing customers the highest qualityservice, in line with its impressive four-star Skytrax ranking.
According to founder and president of the awards Graham Cooke, despiteformidable challenges the aviation sector has faced this year, Vietnam Airlinescontinues to show its remarkable efforts in improving service quality andupgrade its fleet.
He was delighted that Vietnam Airlines has been acknowledged by both the traveltrade and the public by being voted World’s Leading Airline - Premium Economyand Economy Class, and World’s Leading Cultural Airline.
The carrier’s Vice General Director Trinh Hong Quang described the awards as avivid illustration for the airline’s dedication as well as concerted efforts tobetter service quality and contribute to the regional and global aviation’srecovery from pandemic.
This year marks a new milestone for Vietnam Airlines as it launched the premiumeconomy class on domestic flights between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City withservice standards nearly equivalent to that of business class. The premium economyclass is being served on flights between Vietnam and Japan, the Republic ofKorea, western Europe and Australia.
Meanwhile, economy class passengers continue to benefit from the airline’sfleet development roadmap towards a five-star airline, with new aircraft generationssush as Boeing 787-10, Boeing 787-9, Airbus A350 and Airbus A321neo, andwireless streaming services.
