Vietnam beat Thailand 1-0 to top Group A at 2025 AFF Women’s Championship
On August 12, 2025, at Lach Tray Stadium in Hai Phong, the Vietnam women’s national football team (in red) defeated Thailand (in blue) 1-0 in the final Group A match of the 2025 AFF Women’s Championship, with Thu Thao scoring the lone goal in the 36th minute. The win secured Vietnam’s third straight victory and the top spot in the group, while Thailand finished second.
