Vietnam-China int’l trade fair slated for Lang Son in November

Lang Son (VNA) – The Vietnam-China international trade fairwill take place in the northern border province of Lang Son from November 2-8,according to its organising board.
This year, the annual event, which is alternatively organised by LangSon and China’s Guangxi province, is expect to feature about 300 booths, including35 Chinese booths.
As part of the fair, various trade promotion activities will be held tointroduce strong products of different localities, along with art exchanges.
Vietnam’s statisticsshowed that two-way trade reached 71.9 billion USD in 2016, a rise of 7.9percent over the previous year, while the trade deficit fell 13.67 percent yearon year.
By the end of Augustthis year, trade between the two countries hit 55.2 billion USD, up 23.59percent over the same period last year, with Vietnam running a deficit of 17.7billion USD, down 5.76 percent.-VNA
The sixth Zhejiang Export Fair in Vietnam kicked off at the International Centre for Exhibition in Hanoi on August 3 with the participation of over 100 businesses from the Chinese province.
