Vietnam consistently facilitates investors’ development: Party official
It is the consistent policy of the Party and Government of Vietnam to create every favorable condition and environment for investors to develop in a sustainable and long-term basis in Vietnam, said Politburo member, Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and head of its Economic Commission Nguyen Van Binh on September 13.

Hanoi (VNA) – Itis the consistent policy of the Party and Government of Vietnam to create everyfavorable condition and environment for investors to develop in a sustainable andlong-term basis in Vietnam, said Politburo member, Secretary of the CommunistParty of Vietnam Central Committee and head of its Economic Commission NguyenVan Binh on September 13.
In a reception given toleading officials of Facebook, Apple and Coca Cola on the occasion of theirparticipation in the World Economic Forum on ASEAN (WEF ASEAN) 2018 in Hanoi,Binh further said Vietnamese authorities are always ready to listen to ideasand proposals raised by enterprises, and stressed that foreign firms need toclosely coordinate with the host authorities and respect Vietnam’s legalprovisions in their operation.
Binh highlighted the chancesand challenges caused by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, especially todeveloping economies like Vietnam, and held that US firms are enjoying greatpotential and chances to cooperate with Vietnam, particularly in the fields ofdigital economy, digital connectivity and helping Vietnam build ane-government. He also spoke highly of the operation and investment orientationsby those firms in Vietnam.
For their part,representatives of the firms congratulated Vietnam for successfully hosting theWEF ASEAN 2018, and thanked the Vietnamese Party and Government forfacilitating those groups’ operation over the past time. They also spoke highlyof Vietnam’s efforts in administrative reforms as well as improving the businessand investment environment, and expressed their determination to broaden theirbusiness and investment in the country. The three-day WEF ASEAN 2018,themed “ASEAN 4.0: Entrepreneurship and the Fourth Industrial Revolution”, wasstarted in Hanoi on September 11. This is the third time the WEF has chosenVietnam as the venue for a regional WEF.
The WEF was established in1971 as a non-profit foundation and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Theforum engages the foremost political, business, and other leaders of society soas to shape global, regional, and industry agendas.
