Vietnam craft village fair kicks off in Hanoi

The Vietnam Craft Village Trade Fair 2017 (CraftViet 2017) opened in Hanoi on November 9, featuring 250 booths showcasing products of provinces and cities nationwide.

Hanoi (VNA) - The Vietnam Craft VillageTrade Fair 2017 (CraftViet 2017) opened in Hanoi on November 9, featuring 250booths showcasing products of provinces and cities nationwide.

On display are local signature handicraft productslike Chu Dau pottery, Bat Trang pottery, brocade, Dong Ho paintings, and farmproduce from various localities.

About 1,000 craftsmen will participate and makeproducts at the fair. Visitors will have a chance to see the manipulation ofsilver engraving, bamboo, rattan and pottery products.

Director of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Centre forAgriculture Dao Van Ho said that the event is organised to attract investmentin traditional craft villages, encourage tourism development in companion withrural handicrafts and enhance trade promotion for local products.

Especially, a renowned Vietnamese tea zone will bearranged to introduce top-quality tea and tea culture of Vietnam.
