Statistics from the Ministry showed that trade between Vietnam andThailand for the January-September period reached 4.2 billion USD, ofwhich, Thailand’s imports from Vietnam stood at 1 billion USD.
Trade value between Thailand and Malaysia amounted to 11.28 billion USDin the same period while the figure for Thailand-Singapore trade was9.57 billion USD and between Thailand and Indonesia, 5.92 billion USD.
Bilateral trade between Thailand and Laos surpassed 1.5 billion USD inthe period while trade between Thailand and Cambodia in the period was1.14 billion USD./.
A key change in the draft decree is a provision requiring bank transfers for gold transactions valued at 20 million VND (765 USD) and above, to enhance transparency and verify customer identities.
