Vietnam Export Promotion Forum 2021 to take place on December 15

The Vietnam Export Promotion Forum 2021 will be held on December 15 in both in-person and virtual forms to seek ways to boost export for economic recovery.
Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam Export Promotion Forum 2021 will be held on December 15 in both in-person and virtual forms to seek ways to boost export for economic recovery.
The forum will be chaired by Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dienand attract the participation of representatives from relevant Vietnameseministries and agencies, along with export businesses. 

The forum, an annualactivity of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT), aims to realise thegovernment’s measures on promoting economic growth,  digitaltransformation, sustainable development and assist firms and cooperatives in reviving their production and business in the post-COVID-19 period, according to theTrade Promotion Agency under the MoIT.

The forum will comprise two sessions that focus on opportunities and challenges ofsome export markets in the post-COVID-19 period, the national strategy of theSwiss Federal Economic Commission for the 2021-2025 period and orientations forcoordination with partners in the field of trade in Vietnam. Orientation andexport promotion solutions to contribute to economic recovery and developmentare also on the agenda.

The forum is expected toidentify opportunities and prospects for Vietnamese exports,the agency said, adding it will also suggest solutions for local governments and associations in providingassistance for the business community in achieving sustainable export growth./.
