Vietnam, Japan businesses enhance connectivity

A programme to promote connectivity between Vietnamese and Japanese businesses operating in the mechanical engineering, food processing, woodworks, plastics and real estate fields was launched in Ho Chi Minh City on November 6.
A programme to promoteconnectivity between Vietnamese and Japanese businesses operating in themechanical engineering, food processing, woodworks, plastics and realestate fields was launched in Ho Chi Minh City on November 6. Organised by the municipal Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC)in conjunction with the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) andthe Japan Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City (JBAH), the eventattracted a great number of enterprises from the two countries.
Pho Nam Phuong, ITPC Director, said the event creates a good chance forboth sides’ businesses to seek new partners and foster exchanges ofdelegations to make marketing and investment environment research. Isao Obayashi, JBAH General Secretary, noted the programme helpsVietnamese firms who seek to improve the quality of their products andsharpen their competitiveness to penetrate the Japanese market.-VNA
