Vientiane (VNA) – The fourth scientific conference on Vietnam- Laos military medicine✨ opene𓂃d in Vientiane, Laos on December 14.

The event saw the attendance of Major General Phuvong Vongphom, Standing Director General of the Lao Defence Ministry’s Department of Logistics; Major General Vu Quoc Binh, head of the Vietnam Military Medical Department under the Defence Ministry and 200 medical experts.
Speaking at the event, Director of the Laos’ Military Hospital 103 Khampheng Phumakeo said the event aims to commemorate the 10th twining anniversary of Vietnam’s Military Hospital 108 and Laos’ Military Hospital 103.
He said the event offers both sides opportunities share professional knowledge and technological advances. Mai Hong Bang, Director of Military Hospital 108, said the organising board selected the best 17 reports made by the two hospitals’ staff to present at the event, adding that the event will help strengthen ties between the two medicine sectors and the two countries at large.-VNA
