Vietnam most favoured by Koreans for summer holidays
Vietnam is the most popular destination among Korean tourists this summer, according to Hana Tour, the largest travel company in the Republic of Korea.

Seoul (VNA) – Vietnamis the most popular destination among Korean tourists this summer, according toHana Tour, the largest travel company in the Republic of Korea.
The company recentlyannounced the results of its analysis on the booking situation for overseastravel departing in July and August, which also indicated that international travel isgradually returning to normal after a long period of stagnation due to the COVID-19pandemic.
🅷 According to the data released by Hana Tour on June 12, thepercentage of its customers choosing Vietnam as their preferred vacation spot isthe highest at 19.9%. Coming next is Japan with 18.2%, Europe 17.6%, China 13.3%,and Thailand 6.4%.

The peak period for summervacations for Korean travellers will fall within the last two weeks of July andthe beginning of August, specifically from July 24-August 6, when students in the RoK start their summer break. Hence, thedemand for international travel also enters its peak phase.
🌸 Last year, the booking rate for tours to Vietnam by Hana Touraccounted for 26.2%. This means that for every four Koreans who wished totravel abroad in July and August, one person chose Vietnam. Following Vietnamwere Guam 10.9%, Western Europe 9%, the Philippines 8.9%, and Japan 8%./.
A promotional event for Vietnam's aviation and tourism in the Republic of Korea (RoK), named "Wonderful Vietnam", was held in Seoul on May 17, with about 80 representatives from travel agents and partners taking part.
Hanoi is believed to hold rich potential for golf tourism, and it is taking various measures to tackle challenges and turn this type of tourism into its signature travel products.

According to Seoul’s Tourism Industry Department, approximately 20,000 Vietnamese visitors travel to the city each year for medical treatment. Vietnam consistently ranks among the top 10 countries with the highest number of medical tourists to Seoul.
An analysis of accommodation search data based on check-in dates for June and July revealed that Nha Trang surpassed all other destinations in popularity among Korean users.

Kicking off the festival on the evening of June 7 will be the grand music concert titled “Nha Trang Say Hi”, featuring popular artists from the trending show “Anh Trai Say Hi”. The event will be broadcast live nationwide and conclude with a fireworks display over Nha Trang Bay.
Data from Booking.com reveals that during the peak summer vacation in June and July, beach trips continue to be a top priority for Vietnamese travellers.
