A cooperation agreement was signed by the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) andthe Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) in Ho Chi Minh City on January 15.
The agreement aims to strengthen and promote the cooperation between thetwo exchanges and marks a new step of the Vietnam securities market as well asof HOSE on the way towards international integration.
According to theagreement, the two sides will share information, train humane resources,exchange experiences in the management of the securities market, carry out jointresearch projects and jointly organise symposiums.
Chairman of HOSEManagement Board Nguyen Doan Hung said that as the Vietnam securities market isstill young, it wishes to learn from PSE’s experiences.
For his part,Hans B.Sicat, chairman of PSE Management Board, lauded the development of theVietnam securities market and said he believed that the agreement will createnew opportunities for the two exchanges./.
