Hanoi (VNA) – A total 94,385 cases of COVID-19were recorded in the past 24 hours from 4pm February 27 to 4pm February 28,according to the Ministry of Health.
Hanoi continued to record the highest number of infectionswith 12,850, followed by Quang Ninh with 9,105, Nghe An 3,958 and Bac Ninh 3,572.
The national tally now stands at 3,443,485 cases, including40,252 deaths.
The day also saw 27,039 people given the all-clear, pushingthe total recoveries to 2,438,951 to date. There are 3,473 severely ill patients undertreatment.
On February 27, 203,673 doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered,raising the total to 193,625,095./.
Vietnam recorded 55,879 COVID-19 infections, including 8 imported cases, over the past 24 hours to 4pm on February 22, up more than 9,000 cases from the previous day, the Ministry of Health said.
The national caseload of COVID-19 has exceeded 3 million with 69,128 cases detected in the past 24 hours from 4pm February 23 to 4pm February 24, up 8,781 from the previous day, including 9 imported cases, according to the Ministry of Health.
Vietnam recorded 78,795 new infections of COVID-19, including 21 imported cases, in the past 24 hours to 4pm on February 25, up 9,655 cases from the previous day, according the Ministry of Health.
