Vietnam reports 115 local COVID-19 cases on June 30 noon

Vietnam logged 116 additional COVID-19 cases, including 115 domestic ones, from 6am to 12pm on June 30, according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).

Hanoi (VNA) –Vietnam logged 116 additional COVID-19 cases, including 115 domestic ones, from6am to 12pm on June 30, according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).

The new infectionsbrought the national tally to 16,623, with 14,832 locally transmitted and 1,791imported cases. The number of cases since the fourth wave of outbreaks thatbegan on April 27 amounted to 13,262.

Fourteen localitieshave gone through two weeks without new infections in the community.

The sub-department fortreatment under the MoH announced on June 30 that 6,764 patients have beengiven the all-clear, while the death toll has reached 80.

Of the patients whoare still under treatment, 284 have tested negative for the novel coronavirus,121 twice and 84 thrice.
As of June 29, the country's COVID-19 vaccine fund had received about 7.8 trillion VND (338.56 million USD).

In the context ofcomplicated developments, the ministry called on citizens to follow the 5Kmessage of the MoH, including khau trang (facemask), khu khuan (disinfection),khoang cach (distance), khong tu tap (no gathering), and khai bao y te (healthdeclaration), to help contain the outbreaks./.
