The ministry also issued Plan No.1749/KH-BVHTTDL to launchthe programme “Vietnamese people travel Vietnam” in a bid to stimulate domestictourism. Run from June 1 to December 31, the programme aims to populariseattractive destinations and tourist products at reasonable prices, as well asintroduce demand stimulus packages.
It will be launched in several tourism localities to attract theinvolvement of tourism associations, businesses, airlines and partners.
Localities were asked to offer ticket exemption or reduction atrelic sites, museums and tourist areas, thus ensuring a safe, friendly andquality tourism environment.
