The village, funded by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union CentralCommittee, covers an area of 1,000 hectares along the Vietnam-Laosborder line in Phon Lom village, Khamkeut district, in the Lao centralprovince of Borikhamxay .
Since beginning in 2008, the project has helped 70-80 poor young households stablise their lives on a 50 hectare site./.
