Vietnam vows to facilitate Japan’s investment

The State leader spoke highly of the committee’s contributions tofostering the two countries’ relations as well as connecting theirenterprises, hoping for more Japanese investment inflows into Vietnamin 2015.

Informing the guests of theconstruction of the Vietnam-Japan University, he suggested Japanincrease official development assistance (ODA) in education, open moretraining facilities and speed up technology transfer.

Briefing the host on the outcomes of the working session between thedelegation and the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the committee’sCo-Chairmen Takahashi Kyohei and Nakamura Kuniharu said that both sideswere satisfied with the sixth stage of the Vietnam-Japan JointInitiative.

Thanks to policy dialogues, Japanesebusinesses have firm confidence on Vietnam’s investment climate,they said, affirming their determination to step up cooperationprogrammes in the time to come.

They also talkedabout the prospects for collaboration in agriculture and tuna fishing,and proposed Vietnam intensify connectivity to ship high-qualityproducts abroad.-VNA
