Vietnamese archaeological artefacts displayed in Germany
An ongoing exhibition entitled “Treasures of Vietnam Archaeology” at the State Museum of Archaeology in Germany’s Sachsen state has been attracting a large number of visitors.

Berlin (VNA)- An ongoing exhibition entitled “Treasures of Vietnam Archaeology” at the StateMuseum of Archaeology in Germany’s Sachsen state has been attracting a largenumber of visitors.
The exhibition, which runs through August 20, isone of events sponsored by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, tocelebrate the 5th founding anniversary of the Vietnam-Germany strategicpartnership.
As many as 400 historical artefacts classifiedinto three categories: Prehistory, My Son Sanctuary (a temple complex incentral Vietnam) and Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi are being displayedat the exhibition.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, director ofthe municipal museum Sabine Wolfram said the exhibition was a great opportunityfor Germans and overseas Vietnamese in Germany to gain an insight intoVietnam’s tradition and history.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Doan Xuan Hungintroduced customs and history of Vietnam to visitors, while affirming thetraditional relationship and friendship between Vietnam and Germany.
Before being showcased in Chemnitz, these artefactswere displayed at the LWL Museum of Archaeology in Herne city from October 7,2016 to February 26, 2017, dr𒆙awing more than 50,000🌄 visitors.
After Chemnitz, theywill be exhibited in Baden-Wurttemberg state from September 16, 2017 to January7, 2018.-VNA
The exhibition “Treasures of Vietnamese Archaeology” is running at the LWL-Museum of Archaeology in Herne city, Germany’s Nordrhein-Westfalen state, attracting some 700 visitors on its opening day.
The exhibition “Treasures of Vietnamese Archaeology” has attracted over 50,000 visitors after five months displayed at the LWL-Museum of Archaeology in Herne city, Germany’s Nordrhein-Westfalen state.
Eight teams will join the tournament, divided into two groups. Group A features Vietnam, the Philippines, Sichuan Club (China), and Australia, while Group B consists of Vietnam U21, Korabelka Club (Russia), Taiwan (China), and U21 Thailand.
Despite strong home support and high expectations, Vietnam were unable to overcome the defending champions, who secured their third consecutive win over Vietnam in a regional final, following previous victories in 2014 and 2023.
The event, part of Vietnam’s cultural diplomacy strategy through 2030, was jointly organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela and USM’s Faculty of International Relations. It attracted thousands of students from universities across Venezuela.
For the first time, Vietnamese audiences will have the opportunity to experience the ballet masterpiece "Don Quixote" in its original version by renowned choreographer Marius Petipa.
