A delegation from the Vietnamese People’s Army led by Deputy Minister of Defence Senior Lieutenant General Do Ba Ty is on a working visit to Laos at the invitation of Lao Deputy Minister of Defence Lieutenant General Suvon Luongbunmi.
The visit, which lasts until August 27, is designed to assess the result of bilateral defence cooperation in 2014 and the first six months of 2015 between the Vietnamese People’s Army and the Lao People’s Army.
The two sides will discuss orientations and measures to implement the cooperation plan during the remaining months of 2015.
The visit will also help strengthen ♔the traditional friendship and long-lasting special solidarity betꦰween the armies and peoples.-VNA
