Vietnamese enterprises in Japan strengthen linkages

Tokyo (VNA) – The Vietnamese Business Association in Japan convened itscongress for the second tenure (2018-2020) on May 6, aiming to seek ways tobetter connect Vietnamese businesses.

Speaking at the event, President of the association in thefirst tenure Dinh Ngoc Hai said that, after five years of formation anddevelopment, the association has gained initial achievements, contributing toconnecting the two countries’ enterprises, particularly those from Japan andVietnam’s Can Tho city and Ca Mau province.

However, Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Nguyen Quoc Cuongstated that the connectivity between Vietnamese enterprises remains loose.

Therefore, he expressed his hope that the second-tenureexecutive board will take more specific and practical measures to betterconnect Vietnamese enterprises in Japan and Vietnamese enterprises and Japanesepartners.

Vietnam-Japan relations are developing strongly, creatingmore space for Vietnamese enterprises to integrate more deeply into theJapanese market, Cuong added.

At the congress, a new executive board of the associationwas selected, with 11 members, including one President and four Vice Presidents.

Vu Hoang Duc, the association’s new chief, committed tohelping the association grow further in order to become a trusted venue linkingthe two countries’ businesses.-VNA
