The documentwas inked during talks between Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincialParty Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council Bui Van Tinh andKhampheng Xaysompheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Governor ofLuang Prabang, who is on a working visit to the Vietnamese locality.
In the MoU, the two sides agreed to intensifyfriendship and collaboration in the spirit of respecting each other formutual interests and following each country’s law and policies.
Priority will be given to the fields of defence, security, education,health, industry, trade, investment, tourism and culture.
They reached a consensus of resuming their twinning relationshipsigned between Ha Son Binh (now Hoa Binh) and Luang Prabang on March 6,1979.-VNA
