Vietnam always welcomes enterprises ofthe Republic of Korea (RoK) and is willing to create favourableconditions for them to do business in the Southeast Asian country, ViceState President Nguyen Thi Doan said.
She alsohailed the Vietnam and RoK Chambers of Commerce and Industry fororganising an exchange between businesses from their respectivecountries in Seoul on Sept. 18.
The event offered enterprises a chance to seek cooperation, trade andinvestment opportunities as well as share experiences in corporateoperations to overcome difficulties caused by the global economiccrisis, she added.
Doan said she believed that in the coming time, joint efforts betweenthe business communities of the two countries will increase, helpingcooperation in economics, trade and investment match the untappedpotential that exists, and the aspirations of both leaders.
Earlier, while receiving Chairman of RoK Chamber of Commerce andIndustry Kyung Shik Sohm, Deputy State President Nguyen Thi Doanpraised the chamber’s role in organising the 2nd Asian WomenEntrepreneurs Conference (AWEC).
She underscored that Vietnam is an open market, a market withinvestment and business potential and opportunities for foreignenterprises and investors, including RoK businesses.
She said she hoped that the chamber will schedule more practicalactivities to act as a bridge connecting the Vietnamese and RoKbusiness communities for increased economic cooperation along sidesound political relations./.
