Sy, born in 1967,is currently head of the Plasma Energy Faculty under the MoscowPower Engineering Institute. He is also director of the Plasma PhysicsLaboratory and has more than 30 years of experience in plasma physics.
His research projects, independently or incollaboration with other colleagues, have been applied in a wide rangeof areas such as aerospace, military, security and economy.
Sy also helped train many young Vietnamese scientists and students studying at the institute.-VNA
