Le Thi Nguyet Hang from Le Quy Don High School in the central city of Da Nang earned the silver medal.
Bronzemedals winners included Pham Minh Duc from Le Hong Phong High School inNam Dinh province and Le Xuan Luong from the Hanoi National Universityof Natural Sciences’ High School for gifted students.
The consolation prize was awarded to Pham Thi Yen Ngoc from the Lam Son High School in Thanh Hoa province.
The26th International Biology Olympiad attracted 239 students from 63countries and territories. The organising board awarded 26 gold, 48silver and 72 bronze medals as well as 24 consolation prizes.
The 27 th event will be organised in Hanoi from July 17 to 24 next year.-VNA
