The fourth International Conference on Vietnamese Studies will be held in Hanoi from November 26-28.
The conference, themed “ Vietnam on the Road to Integration andSustainable Development”, is expected to draw the participation of 800representatives from diplomatic corps, international organisations andforeign embassies in Vietnam .
The conferencewill be a forum for scholars of Vietnamese studies all over the world topresent their research findings and make academic exchanges with theircolleagues.
It will also offer a greatopportunity for Vietnamese and international researchers of Vietnamesestudies to meet and discuss measures to strengthen researchcollaboration among scholars in and outside Vietnam .
According to Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, President of the VietnamAcademy of Social Sciences, a new point of this conference is the chanceto sum up Vietnam ’s 25-year modernisation process.
