Vietnam’s acupuncture appreciated in Mexico

The President of the association for children with cerebral palsy (APAC) in the Mexican State of Zacatecas has spoke highly of the effectiveness of treatment using acupuncture by Vietnamese doctors at APAC’s rehabilitation centre.

NormaAngeslica Delgadillo Guerrero said she plans to proposerelevant agencies of Mexico and Vietnam to increase the numberof Vietnamese acupuncturists in the centre to meet the needs oftreatment for children with brain diseases and other disabilities .

She expressed her hope that this treatment method will soon become an official health care service in Mexico .

Acupuncture was introduced at the centre as part of treatment regimetwo years ago as a result of visit by Prof. Nguyen Tai Thu, Presidentof the Vietnam National Association of Acupuncture.-VNA
