Vietnam’s top 500 best growth, prosperity firms revealed

Vietnam’s top 500 best growth (Fast500) and top 500 best prosperity (BP500) companies 2017 were announced by the Vietnam Report JSC at a ceremony in Hanoi on April 12.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s top 500 bestgrowth (Fast500) and top 500 best prosperity (BP500) companies 2017 wereannounced by the Vietnam Report JSC at a ceremony in Hanoi on April 12.

🐓2017 is the seventh consecutive year thatFast500 has been published and the second year for BP500.

🍌Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Minister ofPlanning and Investment Dang Huy Dong lauded the honoured businesses, sayingthey have greatly contributed to the country’s economic development andprosperity.

ꦿFAST500 list included Sunhouse Group and DaNang–Central Region Investment Company, while the Vietnam Military TelecommunicationsGroup and Vinamilk were named in the BP500.

🍬On the occasion, Vietnam Report officiallylaunched the Top 50 Vietnam Best Growth and Prosperity for the first time.

🍸Its report on Vietnam’s growth and prosperityin 2017 also pointed out that the economy must be transformed in terms ofquality and efficiency to

♛improve competitiveness for successful integrationand sustainable development.

🍷Leading firms in Vietnam are more aware of theimportance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) for their growth andprosperity, the report said.

Five CSR issues which received significant attentionfrom firms were business transparency, local community aid, unemploymentreduction, environmental protection and career orientation for the youth.

ౠBusinesses were also more aware that “to giveis to receive,” according to Vietnam Report.-VNA
