VINACOMIN earns 15.7 trillion VND in first two months

The Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (VINACOMIN) reported a total revenue of 15.7 trillion VND in the first two months of 2015.
The Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (VINACOMIN)reported a total revenue of 15.7 trillion VND in the first two months of2015.

During the period, the group produced 6.4 milliontonnes of rough coal, equivalent to 15.7 percent of the annual targetsand sold 4.8 million tonnes of coal reaching 12.7 percent of targets.

Inaddition, the group produced 7,380 tonnes of copper ore, 28,000tonnes of iron ore , 1,400 tonnes of copper plates; 63,400 tonnes ofaluminium, and produced and consumed 1.323 billion kilowatts ofelectricity.

The Group aims to produce 40.8 tonnes of coal thisyear, with consumption of 38 million tonnes. Of the sum, coal exportswill amount to 3 million tonnes, while 35 million tonnes will be fordomestic consumption.
 
It also aims to earn more than 114 trillion VND (5.3 billion USD) in revenue.-VNA
