Theministry's decision was announced on February 5, allowing VinaPhone tohave access to two million 10-digit mobile phone numbers.
With seven mobile phone prefixes, the operator currently has a total of 58 million phone numbers.
Theministry's allocation is part of its plan to transform telecom numbers,which require 11-digit mobile phone numbers into numbers with 10digits.
On January 23, the country's largest mobile operator Viettel was allocated 3 million 10-digit mobile phone numbers.-VNA
