Chairman of the provincialPeople’s Committee Nguyen Van Quang made the remark at a workshop on establishinglinkages in agricultural production based on a model of Food Valley Group fromthe Netherlands on June 14. At the event, Roger Van Hoesel, CEOof the Dutch firm introduced their linkage chain and discussed cooperationopportunities with the province, including human resource training, technicaltransfer, food processing techniques and farm management. Despite strengths in agriculture,the province should work to enhance product quality while applying moreautomatic processing chains, he added. Quang expressed his hope for morevisits and working sessions between the company and the province to shareinformation and experience, thus setting up a Food Valley Group-based linkagechain in local agricultural production.-VNA
