Website on respiratory diseases launched

The website www.bac-si-giai-dap.com, a France-Vietnam cooperation project, was launched on October 13 in an effort to raise public awareness of less popular but serious respiratory diseases with high death risk.

HCM City (VNA) – Thewebsite www.bac-si-giai-dap.com, a France-Vietnam cooperation project, waslaunched on October 13 in an effort to raise public awareness of less popularbut serious respiratory diseases with high death risk.

Designed in both Vietnameseand English language, the portal is a non-profit information site. Itsinformation is certified by a medical council, including leading Vietnamese andFrench medical experts.

They will answer questionsand offer advices related to non-communicable chronic respiratory diseases suchas asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, which according to theWorld Health Organisation, is the third leading cause of death amongnon-communicable diseases.

During a press conferenceheld by the French Embassy in Vietnam on October 13, Health and Social Development Attaché at the Embassy ofFrance in Vietnam Thomas Mourez said France and Vietnam reaped positiveresults in medical cooperation, such as doctor training and epidemic preventionand control.

The portalis the first stage of the France-Vietnamcooperation project against non-communicablediseases. It is expected to lay a foundation for the development of the websitein other languages./.

𒉰 Vietnam, France collaborate in vaccine production technology transfer

Under the agreement, VNVC and Sanofi will gradually implement technology transfers to enable domestic production of several key Sanofi vaccines that are widely used in Vietnam. In addition, Sanofi will support VNVC in training human resources and quality management in vaccine research and manufacturing.
