World Trade Centre in Binh Duong helps connect enterprises

Binh Duong (VNA) –
The World Trade Centre in Binh Duong New City(WTC BDNC) project in the southern province of Binh Duong is expected toconnect enterprises and help local firms develop international trade, theprovincial People’s Committee said on October 2.

As a member of the World Trade Centres Association (WTCA), the centre will connectits member businesses with more than one million enterprises worldwide. Theproject aims to develop Binh Duong into a dynamic locality with professionalservices and high-quality human resources, as well as an attractive destinationfor real estate projects.

Under the approval of the WTCA, the Investment and Industrial Development JointStock Corporation (Becamex IDC) will construct the complex with aninternational conference and exhibition centre, hotel, office and a metrostation on Ho Chi Minh City’s Metro Line No.1.

The WTC BDNC project will be officially announced at the 2019 Horasis AsiaMeeting on November 23.

Earlier, Becamex IDC asked the provincial People’s Committee to develop theproject with the hope of increasing the proportion of services in the localeconomy, and to carry out the province’s breakthrough programmes during2016-2020 which aim to improve the quality of human resources and urban areaplanning, and develop professional services./.
