Via mutual support in Party building and socio-economic development, Yen Bai has trained and provided scholarships for nearly 200 Lao students in the fields of pedagogy, health care, culture-art and tourism since 2011.
Yen Bai has also sent officers to Lao departments and agencies to teach Vietnamese while welcoming Lao fellows to the province to share professional experience in health care, agriculture, planning, investment and transport.
Moreover, the province has offered financial assistance worth billions VND to the Lao side to build medical and housing facilities.
Both sides also annually hold exchange of visits to set cooperation plans and share experience.-VNA
