The Vietnamese embassies in Romania and Algeria have organised various activities in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh on his 135th birth anniversary.

In the 1930s, he also spent time in Italy, with cities like Rome, Milan, Florence, and Genoa bearing his footprints and locals continuing to speak of him with reverence and pride.

They expressed their infinite gratitude and profound respect for President Ho Chi Minh’s tremendous contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. Deeply inspired by his monumental contributions to the revolutionary cause, the Party and State leaders reaffirmed their determination to follow his path, working together to build a peaceful, independent, unified, democratic, and prosperous Vietnam advancing steadily toward socialism.

The 2025 National Sen (Lotus) Village Festival will open on May 15 evening to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - 2025).

The historical relic site commemorating late President Ho Chi Minh in the Lao province of Savannakhet is a popular destination for both Vietnamese and Lao people to visit and learn about President Ho Chi Minh's revolutionary activities.

A highlight of the programme was a short play portraying President Ho Chi Minh’s traditional New Year visits to disadvantaged households. The performance illustrated his lifelong concern for the well-being of the people, especially during festive times.
