The Prime Minister has approved a plan to build a coastal road system in Vietnam with investment of 28 trillion VND.
The spending is expected to come from the State budget, local budgets and other sources.
The 3,041km route will start from the Nui Do-Mui Ngoc port in thenortheastern province of Quang Ninh ’s Mong Cai town to Ha Tien bordergate in the southern province of Kien Giang .
Between now and 2020, 892 km of road will be built and upgraded. Afterthat, construction and upgrade will be continued on 1,058km./.
At a review conference held on June 21, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh praised the province’s scientific, coordinated, and flexible approach. He noted that the early completion reflects the strong commitment of local authorities, the business community, philanthropists, and residents in improving housing conditions for disadvantaged groups.
The VNA delegation, led by General Director Vu Viet Trang, actively participated in the event, engaging in both professional and diplomatic activities.
