Da Nang (VNS/VNA) - Crowds were amazed with awe inspiring firework displays from the US and Italy at the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024 (DIFF) performing under the theme ‘Made of Nature Wisdom’.
A breathtaking performance by two-time champions the Martarello Group from Italy saw them debut their ‘Bright Universe-Symphony of Light’ show, a favourite music of Vietnamese composers Dinh Dung and Tong Duy Tan and an epic music mix, Audiomachine and Two steps from Hell on the banks of the Han River.
Newcomers, Rozzi Fireworks, a team from the US, offered a night of magic with a fusion of violins, rock, jazz and electronic dance music, at the largest fireworks event in Vietnam on June 15.
They truly rocked the night, with the music of Queen, love ballads and a spectacular high range show of fireworks.
The US show included a medley of othe🔴r tunes to, including ‘This is me’ from ‘The Greatest Showman’./.
The second competition night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024 on June 15 is expected to wow spectators with surprising performances of the highly experienced Italian and US teams.
Team Da Nang – Vietnam and France’s Arteventia had a breathtaking display at the opening of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024 (DIFF) above the Han River on June 8 night.
The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024 will showcase five nights of fireworks displays, each corresponding to a specific theme. Eight competing teams from France, Italy, the US, Germany, Poland, China, Finland, and Vietnam will participate, divided into four pairs for four nights of competition. The top two teams will advance to the grand finale on July 13.
The Vietnamese team will gather on June 26 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, where they will train until July 14 before departing for Indonesia for the ASEAN U23 Championship 2025, which runs from July 15 to 29. Vietnam will face Laos on July 19 and Cambodia on July 22 in the group stage.
The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
For the first time, the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) has granted Vietnam hosting rights for the two championships, including the Asian women’s solo category, which debuts this year as an officially recognised event.
Eight teams will join the tournament, divided into two groups. Group A features Vietnam, the Philippines, Sichuan Club (China), and Australia, while Group B consists of Vietnam U21, Korabelka Club (Russia), Taiwan (China), and U21 Thailand.

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
Vietnam continues to sit just behind continental powerhouses Japan, the Republic of Korea, Australia, China, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).
