Da Nang (VNA) – Young French singer-songwriterJoyce Jonathan and her soft, airy but strong voice enthralled Vietnameseaudience during a concert at Bien Dong Park in central Da Nang city on June 8.
Joyce Jonathan is an internationally renowned artist,especially in Asia where she performs regularly on the most well-known ofstages. She won in the “French Revelation of the Year” category of the 2011 NRJMusic Awards, and the SACE National Union of Authors Composer Award (UNAC) inthe same year for her song “Je ne sais pas”.
During the night, Joyce, accompanied by several Frenchtalented artists, presented to the local audience her latest album entitled“Une place pour moi” (A place for me).
The 28-year-old musician, who composed her first song at the ageof 11, released her first album “Sur mes gardes” in2010, which was certified platinum after selling 130,000 copies.
In2013, she was nominated for best female singer and best song for her secondalbum at the NRJ Music Awards.-VNA
