Renowned young French singer Joyce Jonathan will perform in the concert “Joyce Jonathan Live Concert in Vietnam” next month in Ho Chi Minh City to raise funds for disadvantaged children.

The concert, hosted bynon-governmental organisation Poussieres de Vie, will take place at Ben ThanhTheater on June 6 evening, said Patrick Desir, Director of the organisation ata press conference on May 29. He noted that allproceeds from the event will be donated to child education and healthcareprogrammes at the organisation’s centres. Founded in 2002,Poussieres de Vie has helped Vietnamese street children through numerousprojects in Ho Chi Minh City and the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum. So far, theorganization has opened various training centres where disadvantaged childrenreceive free lessons on sports, foreign languages, IT and career guidance.-VNA
