Ambassador bolsters cooperation between Vietnam, Argentina national radio stations
Newly-appointed Ambassador of Vietnam to Argentina Duong Quoc Thanh on November 17 had a working session with Alejandro Pont Lezica, Director of the Radio Nacional Argentina (RNA), to discuss further cooperation between the Argentine national radio station and Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV).

Buenos Aires (VNA) – Newly-appointed Ambassador of Vietnam to Argentina Duong Quoc Thanh onNovember 17 had a working session with Alejandro Pont Lezica, Director of the Radio Nacional Argentina (RNA), todiscuss further cooperation between the Argentine national radio station and the Voice of Vietnam (VOV).
Speaking at themeeting, Ambassador Thanh highly valued the practical and effective partnershipbetween RNA and VOV over recent years which has allowed Vietnam and Argentinato promote their natural landscapes and people among each other.
Thanh and Lezicaagreed that the two national radio stations will continue implementing theiragreement in the coming time, particularly in the joint production of the radioexchange programmes “Argentina Saluda a Vietnam” (Argentina greets Vietnam) and“Vietnam Saluda a Argentina” (Vietnam greets Argentina).
The two sidesalso agreed to add content on economy, trade and investment between the twocountries to the exchange programmes and accelerated promotion of Vietnameseand Argentine people, natural and cultural heritage, music, cuisine amongothers on RNA and VOV’s official websites to enhance mutual understandingbetween the two peoples.
The two radio stations will also foster experienceexchange and cooperate in producing joint programmes./.
An online conference on Vietnam – Argentina cooperation, particularly in trade and economy, took place on July 28 with the participation of officials from Argentina’s foreign ministry and large provinces and cities.
A webinar on trade between ASEAN and Argentina was held on October 11, aiming to accelerate the implementation of trade agreements inked between the two sides.
The Vietnam – Latin America ICT Forum 2020 was held by the Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with embassies of 11 Latin American countries in Hanoi on October 29.
