Another gymnastics gold for Vietnam by golden girl
Gymnast Phan Thi Ha Thanh secured the first gold in the women’s individual final after beating Malaysian and Singaporean competitors at the ongoing 28th SEA Games in Singapore on June 8.

The same day, Dinh Phuong Thanh also struck gold in the men’s individual all-around competition.
Earlier, Le Thanh Tung, Hoang Cuong, Dinh Phuong Thanh, Pham PhuocHung and Dang Nam grabbed the first gold in the men’s team final.
Golden girl Ha Thanh won the first SEA Games gold in 2007 at the age of 15.
Last year, she clinched one silver and one bronze in the Asian Games.
Early this year, she competed for the World Challenge Cup in Doha, Qatar and brought home one gold and silver.-VNA
