The conference,which will last through March 31, has drawn the participation of 180 local andforeign delegates from 53 ASEM members.
Addressing theconference, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam stressed that education plays animportant role in promoting innovation and creativity. He noted that manycountries pay special attention to developing human resources for sustainabledevelopment, particularly in the context of the fourth industrial revolutionaryand the strengthened trend of globalization.
An event in theframework of the ASEM Forum, the conference is hoped to promote the Asia-Europecooperation in dealing with issues related to education, labour, and jobs. Italso aims to seek proposals on ASEM’s visions on education and developing humanresources.
